About the podcast

What is this podcast?

The Forgotten Storms of the Atlantic podcast lets listeners catch up with the hurricanes and tropical storms that tormented the Atlantic and Caribbean Oceans only to be forgotten shortly after their tropical demise.

These storms reached the absolute pinnacle of their atmospheric craft yet years, months, days or even hours after their dissipation their names are forgotten. So that got Tom Di Liberto thinking. Where do these storms go after it’s all over? What do they do for an encore? How do they make sense of both their rise, their fall, and hopefully their rebirth.

Each episode will feature one former hurricane in a 20-30 minute conversation with our host Tom Di Liberto as they discuss life in and out of atmospheric fame.

Because yes….you can talk to atmospheric phenomena! Although I wouldn’t recommend chatting with all of them. Ice storms are real jerks.

If you have a storm you’ve lost touch with, let Tom know! He’ll track it down.
